Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 main index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Thursday higher by 2.87% to 13,639.73 points.

The EGX50 EWI grew by 2.08% to 2,329.43 points.

Moreover, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI increased by 1.52% to 2,622.41 points and by 1.85% to 3,809.87 points, respectively.

The turnover amounted to EGP 2.74 billion after 775.31 million shares were exchanged, while the market cap value totalled EGP 890.36 billion.

As for trading on securities, the Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 730.60 million. Meanwhile, the Arab and foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 11.69 million and EGP 718.90 million, respectively.
